November 1, 2009:
Deadline for all abstract submissions. Electronic forms and accompanying support materials,
if any, are formatted and forwarded to the Review Committee.
** Materials received after November 1 will not be reviewed.
December 15, 2009:
Review sessions completed and hopeful presenters are informed of their abstracts' acceptance
status (accept / decline / wait list / invitation to present in an alternate format).
Individuals whose abstracts are accepted will receive an invitation to present along with instructions
for reserving and securing a presentation slot. Instructions to secure slot include the requirement
to register, and complete payment by January 9, 2010.
January 9, 2010
Deadline for abstract presenters to secure presentation slots.
January 12, 2010
Individuals on the Wait List are informed of their updated status (accept / decline / invitation
to present in an alternate format) and asked to confirm their availability to present. Instructions
to secure slot include requirement to register and complete payment by January 11, 2010.
January 23, 2010
Deadline for previously Wait Listed presenters to confirm availability and secure presentation slots.

** The author’s submission implies that the abstract has not been previously published,
and that all co-authors are aware that their names appear on the abstract.
** Submission also implies the author and co-authors grant permission to GHEC for the abstract to appear in the conference program, GHEC website and marketing/publicity materials distributed after the 2010 Conference.
*** By submitting an abstract for presentation you are declaring your intention and availability to present during April 9 - 11, 2010, and your ability to fund (either independently or with the support of others) your travel and all travel-related costs (including conference registration dues) to attend the 2010 conference.
** Except though small travel grants awarded to individuals traveling from low-resource countries, conference producers will not provide funding to participants for travel or event registration
