The main function of the Student Advisory Committee is to provide student insight for GHEC products, programs and services, and to ensure their high relevance to the student population. Members of the Student Advisory Committee invest significant energy into a range of GHEC projects to strengthen global health activities in their respective regions and campuses. Advisory Committee members who serve in active leadership in a national student organization also work in liaison between GHEC and their affiliate organization(s) so as to enhance the distribution of GHEC projects. This year's Student Advisory Committee is composed of 15 students spanning 4 continents in various disciplines (medicine, public health, nursing, etc.).
