Benefits of Membership

• Sharing Expertise
Members promote international health programs in their schools through collaboration with GHEC colleagues, GHEC committees, and program events at GHEC's annual national conference.

• Sharing Clinical Training Sites
GHEC links members to a network of faculty contacts and international clinical sites. GHEC is developing guidelines for site selection and evaluation.

• Networking and Advocacy
GHEC develops and maintains liaisons with organizations with related interests.		   • Sharing Information
GHEC's newsletter; the GHEC members listserv;
the mailing list and other publications help GHEC members exchange information about:

Activities and innovation in international health-related education; Colleagues and contacts; New program for students and residents; New funding opportunities for international health education

• GHEC Membership also includes:
Member rates to the GHEC events; GHEC Listserv access; Opportunities to participate in and contribute to GHEC projects and programs.

 Membership Updates

 

New Rates effective: January 1, 2010

New Terms: Starting January 1, 2010, GHEC's membership terms will shift from record keeping on an Anniversary/Rolling-Basis to Calendar Year-Basis (January 1 to December 31).

Membership Discount: Qualifying discount for GHEC Institutional Members

In 2010, GHEC partnered with the Consortium of Universities for Global Health, CUGH, (www.cugh.org) to provide a discount to qualifying institutions that are simultaneous GHEC and CUGH members (new and renewing members).
